Sightseeing

Whether driving Idaho's scenic byways or back roads, you will see unforgettable sights and very likely, some wild animals.

Harrison makes a great base from which to explore the south lake area, including the logging town of St. Maries, the wilderness outpost of Avery up the St. Joe River; and Silver Valley sights like the Coeur d'Alenes Old Mission, the picturesque North Fork River, the old gold rush town of Murray, and the charms of Wallace.
