The Harrison Community Review is moving forward
Thank you so much for your participation during Phase 1 of the Harrison Community Review. We had awesome participation, ideas, and excitement to move forward! The next step is Phase 2. Phase 2 has been postponed but will hopefully be April 2020. The exact dates, times, and agenda will come out later but hopefully you can ear mark that week to participate in the next step of the Community Review. We will start some of the planning after we have identified co-leaders. Keep in mind we will need two leaders for each focus area in order to proceed with Phase 2. Leaders will help recruit team members to their focus area and will help with overall planning and working with a community coach to support the work of all the teams. However, all levels of participation are needed! Examples of various roles include: make meeting reminder calls, help setting up meetings, co-lead a focus area, participate on a team, fund raise or just be a set of hands on various projects or events. Some efforts will be short term and others will take longer – there is a part for everyone to play! Also during phase 2, experts from various agencies and organizations from around the state will provide guidance and facilitation for the focus area teams as we create action plans. At that time we will be eligible to apply for a grant to implement a project or projects identified through the community review. If you have any questions don't hesitate to call or email me. Once again thank you for supporting Harrison in this great opportunity! Thank you, Amanda Reinhardt (208) 661-4053 |

Community ReviewThe Idaho Community Review is the flagship program of the Idaho Rural Partnership (IRP), a nonpartisan collaborative effort to make rural Idaho stronger, healthier and more prosperous. IRP’s public and private-sector member organizations and other partners work closely with rural residents and leaders to identify solutions at a local and regional level. The process builds capacity of community residents and leaders to identify a shared vision and work together to achieve common goals.
