Summer Music in the Park Starts Memorial Day Weekend
Grange Market every Saturday, 10 am - 3 pm from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.
Boot Scootin' Boogie.
Fourth of July Fireworks on the waterfront at dark. JamShack plays live music in the park from 4 to 8 pm.
Old Time Picnic. This three-day celebration is a reunion of families and friends of Harrison. Festivities start Friday with the coronation of the "Old Time Picnic" Royalty and a potluck dinner. Parade is Sunday at 10 am, followed by fun "old time" games in the park, such as sack races, baby crawling, nail driving, greased pole climbing, and an obstacle race.
Haul Ass to Harrison Car Show-n-Shine
The annual car show takes place downtown. Registration is in the city park from 8 am - 11 am. Live music on the stage starts at 11 am. Awards at 2:30 pm. Contact Russ Wilbur at (208) 661-9989 for more information.
Oktoberfest in the city park, 1 - 7 pm (rain or shine). Features area micro-breweries and home brewers, vendors, food, and activities for the kids (face painting, bounce house, etc.). If you would like to be a vendor or to volunteer at the event, please contact Teri Riberich at (208) 582-2341.
