July 29th-31st
Old Time Picnic.  This three-day celebration is a reunion of families and friends of Harrison. Festivities start Friday with the coronation of the "Old Time Picnic" Royalty and a potluck dinner. P
arade is Sunday at 10 am, followed by fun "old time" games in the park, such as sack races, baby crawling, nail driving, greased pole climbing, and an obstacle race.

September 10th
Haul Ass to Harrison Car Show-n-Shine 

The annual car show takes place downtown. Registration is in the city park from 8am - 11am. Live music on the stage starts at 11am. Awards at 2:30 pm.

October 1st
Oktoberfest in the city park, 1-7pm (rain or shine).  Features area
micro-breweries and home brewers, vendors, food, and activities for the kids (face painting, bounce house, etc.).  If you would like to be a vendor or to volunteer at the event, please contact Amanda Hall at
