APRIL 12, 2008 - SATURDAY HARRISON WILL HAVE A "CLEAN UP DAY" Saturday April 12th so mark your calendar!
Kootenai County HAZ-MAT will be there to collect all your household hazardous materials. If you would like to volunteer on a project, please sign up at Harrison City Hall.

Mark your calendars because Harrison is getting ready to kick off summer! Thursday, June 19th, we're launching summer in Harrison with the German sausage feed in the City Park starting at 10:00am. The sausage feed continues through Friday, leading up to the whole hog! Saturday, June 21st, we'll be hosting Pig in the Park and the June Bug Craft Faire at the Harrison City Park.

Saturday morning, beginning at 10:00, local and regional artists and crafters will gather in City Park to sell their unique, beautiful, and sometimes quirky wares. There's sure to be something for everyone's tastes.

Art on the Edge will conduct art workshops with kids, and live music featuring Brian Young and Lew Petro promise to keep everyone moving and grooving.

Please contact the Harrison Chamber if you would like more details, a booth space for your own crafts, or want to pitch in to help make this a truly exceptional summer kick off. Hope to see you there as our community celebrates summer in our distinctive Harrison way.

Haul Ass Show & Shine ~ Sunday, September 14th

Harrisons classic car, motorcycle and street rod show kicks off Saturday with a sock hop at One Shots with PJ Destiny.
Show & Shine starts on the main drag overlooking Lake Coeur dAlene on Sunday 8:30 a.m. The first 50 entries receive a commemorative donkey trophy.
See Elvis impersonator Doug Spencer and ride the donkey in the park.
Pinewood derby starts at noon.
Bring your best chili for the cook-off that starts 11 a.m.
Lots of prizes and give-a-ways.

This is an open show, so if you have a classic, bring it and help celebrate our 10th anniversary.

September 17, 2008 Wednesday Antique and Classic Boat Societies International Boat Show and Meeting This event was previously known as The Wooden Boat Show. Regardless of the name, it is one of the most popular summer events in Harrison The 24th Annual Antique and Classic Boat Societies International Boat Show and Meeting will be in Harrison for the day only. Come on down and check out the once in a lifetime experience with the boats.
