3 hour Photography Workshop

class will be on Saturday June 27th - 8 AM start time for some good light. This would be a three hour workshop with hands on instruction with the students cameras.

We would concentrate on how to take better images by evaluating and solving the five essential factors of a good image.
1) Lighting
2) Composition
3) Exposure
4) Focus
5) Timing

First 1/2 hour for instruction and guidelines, followed by 2 hours of exploring Harrison and a little of the trail. At the end we will evaluate the images and review the lessons learned for 1/2 hour. Students should bring their camera's, Tripods/Monopods and external flash if they have them.

The students should come away as much better photographers. I have been teaching similar programs to both Hobbyists and Professionals for two years and it has been very well received.

Christine Reynolds is a PPA Certified Professional Photographer, Florida Master Photographer, FDPE, and PPA Photographer of the Year for 2006. Her images have won local, state, regional and national awards. They have been published in local, national and international publications including the prestigious PPA Loan Collection and Show Case books. She also has the Florida Professional Photographer's Education Degree (FED) and, an MBA from USF.

Christine's Philosophy:
To capture the pure essence of the moment with technical excellence, an artistic touch, and a sensitive soul.
Christine's Images have impact and emotion along with being technically excellent. She creates images, translating three-dimensional moments in time into an Artistic form. She is often asked if her images are painted. Her subjects include Commercial advertising, Corporate events, Family Portraits, Weddings and Fine Art. Her fine art images are created not just captured, she spends hours on each image before printing on archival canvas. They are color fast with 100-year inks, a UV protective coating applied and are sold as limited editions. These are featured at the Denise Oliver Gallery in Harrison, ID and several venues in Tampa, FL.
Christine travels extensively to meet the needs of her clients. In the summer she returns to Coeur d'Alene Lake, ID and Spokane, WA where she was raised capturing the beauty of the area and creating wonderful family portraits.
Christine in 2008 was awarded a First Place and Best of Show in the 2008 Florida Professional Photographers Print Competition. She is currently creating a coffee table book for Florida Craftsman Inc. called the Passion of Art, which details both Florida Artists and collectors of their art. She also teaches Photography for Panasonic's Nationally advertised Digital Photo Academy.
Christine is a member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA), Florida Professional Photographers (FPPA) Tampa Professional Photographers (TAPPA) and The National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP)
